Stevie Wright Tribute

Scott McRae fronts this staged account of Stevie Wright and The Easybeats, backed by some of the country's better players. It covers the whole arc, from the band becoming Australia's first genuine international pop success through the years that followed, and it does not tidy the story up. Eighteen hit songs run through it, Friday On My Mind, She's So Fine and all three parts of Evie among them. Archival footage and interviews with old bandmates and mates fill in the rest. It has been seen on ABC Australian Story and The Today Show, and Glenn A. Baker called it a rewarding experience to see it come alive on stage.
