Strangers In Town

Music, circus and comedy from a mobile troupe who need no PA and can set up almost anywhere. Strangers In Town play everything from the 1920s forwards: jazz, folk, lounge, swing, Latin, calypso, boogaloo, and yes, some country and western. They make a point of pulling the audience into the act rather than performing at them. The costumes are hand painted, a surreal blaze of cartoon blues, greens, oranges and purples that reads from across a crowded space. Good fit for festivals, fetes, product launches, parties and shopping centre promotions. Past work covers art exhibitions, neighbourhood activations, community events and corporate functions.
