Lauren Street came out of Australian Idol and now fronts StreetWise, a four piece built around elite session players. The show shifts easily from restrained dinner music to a proper dance set, which is why so much of their work has been corporate. Lauren's vocals and stage presence carry it, and she has played to hundreds of corporate rooms across Brisbane. If you need one band that can hold the early part of a night quietly and then lift it later, this is that arrangement.
