Strings On Fire formed in Hobart in 2001, taking a string quartet beyond its classical repertoire into jazz and contemporary arrangements. The musicians play concerts and private functions, including weddings. Their accompanying work has included artists such as Il Divo and Meow Meow, while other appearances range from Dark MOFO to televised events. Classical pieces remain part of the quartet's programme.
