Swamp Runners

Three players, one big sound. Swamp Runners work out of Vincentia on the NSW South Coast, running blues through popular standards, R&B and a psychedelic rock streak that keeps the sets from sitting still. Greg takes lead guitar, Mark holds down bass and Vanessa is on drums. What you notice first is the bottom end and the harmonies, and then the surf-style rhythms underneath everything. It suits a room where people want to tap along early and dance later. They also take cover band and general band work, so a night doesn't have to be strictly blues to make sense for them.
