Sway Ballroom

Queensland title winners and Australian finalists, Peter and Rebecca Beardsley dance together as Sway Ballroom, working out of Acacia Ridge. Custom shows move through waltz, tango, Viennese waltz, foxtrot and quickstep, and a simple routine can be taught to onlookers as part of the booking rather than the pair dancing alone throughout. Competition credits include the 2009 New Zealand National Championship, back-to-back Queensland titles in 2010 and 2011, and a placing 74th in the world at the British Dance Championships in Blackpool. Corporate performances have included bookings for Mondial, Honeywell and Brisbane Brass Bands, with bookings also offered for conferences, weddings and seasonal functions.
