Sweet Thing

Vinyl only, and mostly disco. Sweet Thing digs for rare records that trace disco back to where it came from: funk, soul, gospel and Latin music. The style owes more to the New York loft parties of the late sixties and seventies than to a modern club booth, so think of her as a music host rather than a beat matcher. She holds regular spots at The Trocadero Room, The Hive Bar and Rekodo, and also plays in the DJ duo Dessert and with The Queen Bee Collective. Good for a bar, a party or anywhere the records are meant to be heard properly.
