Sweet Velvet

Sweet Velvet want the 70s and 80s back, and they're loud about it. A four-piece originals band out of Sydney playing hard rock: Elvin Edmonds founded the band and plays drums, Lou Rocco is the other founder on bass, Liam Wild covers all guitars and Dave Williams sings. The originals are the point, and they'll tell you so, but a set can carry plenty of covers when a gig calls for it. They play most weeks somewhere around Sydney, which shows in how tight the thing is. Pubs, indie bills and rock nights.
