Fiddle, flute, saxophone and guitar, with drums and bass added when a room needs more push. Sydney Bush Band play colonial Australian tunes alongside the Irish, Scottish and English traditions those tunes came from. You can join a properly called bush dance or just do your own thing on the floor. Their quieter side is the useful one for corporate nights: Celtic airs and bush ballads that sit under conversation instead of fighting it. The repertoire runs through South Australia, Waltzing Matilda, Click Go The Shears, Botany Bay and Ryebuck Shearer, plus Poor Ned and Diamantina Drover by Redgum, Down Under by Men At Work, Home Among The Gumtrees, and jig and reel sets. Good for weddings, festivals and themed events.
