Take a modern chart song, feed it through vintage rhythms and original arrangements, and let a 13 piece brass orchestra loose on it. That's the trick behind this Sydney Gatsby band: Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue and Michael Jackson turned into jive-ready swing. Other formats sit alongside it. There's an Andrews Sisters tribute trio doing wartime 1940s songs, and a vintage harmony sisters set that stretches through the forties, sixties, Motown and current classics. Sets are usually built in 40 minute blocks, one, two or three of them, and PA and speakers come with the booking. A version with swing dancers is available for rooms big enough to move in.
