Syrup is part of the garage resurgence in Naarm, pulling early 2000s garage and grime together with 90s house and disco. The sets are nostalgic in their source material and built firmly for now, with smooth transitions, unexpected flips and a flow that carries from warm-up through to peak time. He's played Section 8, Pawn & Co and Levels, and he's a founding member of the UKG collective Our Garage, hosting events and pushing the sound. Melbourne based, and one of the people actually building this scene rather than just playing in it.
