Tap Dogs is a tap dance production created by choreographer Dein Perry. The show draws on his industrial background in Newcastle, placing tap performance in a contemporary setting. After premiering in Sydney in 1995, it toured internationally and received major theatre awards. The company also took part in the Sydney 2000 Olympic opening ceremony.
