About this act
Four voices, close harmony, and a Welsh streak running through the repertoire. Tarren are a Wollongong vocal quartet working the choral end of folk and pop, singing a cappella or backed by guitar, recorder and a bit of percussion. Traditional songs sit alongside The Seekers, Dylan and The Beatles, plus seventies and eighties material and the odd instrumental jig. It's an acoustic act at heart. A couple of microphones are welcome if the venue has them, and a powerpoint for the bass amp, but Tarren can sing a room without either. Insured.
