About this act
Tenorissimo came together in Brisbane around a handful of experienced international tenors who wanted to keep performing closer to home. Part of the idea is developing younger singers alongside them. The programme is tenor repertoire audiences already love, including Funiculi Funicula, Nessun Dorma and O Sole Mio, sitting beside classical arrangements of contemporary songs. Matt Hickey puts it plainly: the group know each other like brothers, and performing together has always been enormous fun. There are dance moves involved as well, which is not what most people expect from an opera act. Suits corporate events and functions of most kinds.
