Alice Bisschops is a saxophonist and composer based in Naarm, Melbourne, working across several disciplines. Her trio digs into the music of American alto player Paul Desmond and adds original compositions shaped by counterpoint and 1950s West Coast jazz. Alice plays alto saxophone alongside Lee Jones on guitar and James Lockwood on upright bass. It's listening music with a light touch, well suited to rooms where conversation and live playing need to coexist.
