THE APOCALYPSO ORCHESTRA is a band from Perth, Western Australia.
Calypso arrangements of songs that were never written as calypso are the point of this Perth outfit. The Apocalypso Orchestra reworks the theme from I Dream of Jeannie alongside Enter Sandman and Killing in the Name Of, plus the standard Limbo Rock, through a horn-led seven-piece line-up of trumpet, saxophone, trombone, steel drums, guitar, bass and drums. The repertoire is selected for dancing.
