Five blokes from Mornington who've spent enough time in Irish bars and on winery balconies to know how a room turns. The Avenue play covers from the 60s to now, and the reference points tell you plenty: Aussie pub rock, U2, Dire Straits, Crowded House, Ed Sheeran. They'll go acoustic with three or four part harmony, or plug in and go electric, and there are often six or seven instruments on stage across a night. You can book three, four or five of them depending on the room. They bring their own lighting and sound. And if there's a song you want that isn't on the list, give them notice and it'll be there.
