The Bald Brothers

Dan Reade on piano accordion, Matcham Caine on guitar and vocals. Together they're The Bald Brothers, a blues and roots duo out of the Byron shire, and both are known around the northern rivers as players and teachers. Dan helped start Out of Range, which mixes swing, gypsy, reggae, cabaret and boogie-woogie. Matcham leads a vintage blues outfit called The Caine Cutters Blues Band. What you get from the two of them is songs that have lasted, drawn from across the last hundred years or so, with You Are My Sunshine, Ring of Fire, Summertime and Dirty Old Town all in the mix. They carry their own gear. Just point them at a power outlet.
