The Blackwoods Three

Three musicians with more than 40 years of playing between them, working out of Melbourne. The Blackwoods Three build sets around old fashioned rock and roll with blues, funk and pop mixed in, drawing on the Rolling Stones, Bowie, Pink Floyd, Stevie Wonder, Australian Crawl, AC/DC, Cold Chisel, The Angels and Springsteen. A standard booking is three 45 minute sets, though those tend to stretch, and they'll open acoustic while guests are finishing their meals. Full PA with subs, wireless soundcheck, lighting, and music through the breaks all come as part of it. They need about 3m by 3m under cover, a flat surface for the drums and a standard power point.
