The Blue Jays

Blues, but fused with swing, R&B and soul, and mostly acoustic. The Blue Jays are Annie McGlade on guitar and vocals, Julie Noble on blues harp and Dave Rackham on double bass, dobro and uke bass. Annie and Dave have each spent over 30 years playing professionally at private functions, festivals, bars and clubs, and Julie came up through the blues scene with the duo Miss Whiskey. The set mixes well known numbers with originals. Geelong based, and a sensible pick for a wedding or a function where you want something with real playing behind it rather than a wall of volume.
