Formed in Brisbane in 2016 by musicians who came up through the Melbourne and Brisbane scenes, and who have played and recorded with some well known Australian artists along the way. The Darlington Stripes recorded a self-titled debut EP inside their first year together, which tells you the pace they work at. Their reference points are Creedence Clearwater Revival, Thin Lizzy, The Beatles, The Doors, The Rolling Stones and Badfinger, run through something more current. Pubs and clubs are the natural home for this one.
