The Desirables

Costume changes, a story running through the set, and a stage full of familiar faces. This Adelaide tribute show puts male and female vocalists side by side, working through the songs of Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner, Dusty Springfield and ABBA one moment, then Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Buddy Holly, Tom Jones and Dean Martin the next. It runs as a proper show rather than a straight covers set, with the cast coming off the stage to mingle between numbers and photos with the characters part of the deal. It grew out of Pulse, an Adelaide band, and shares its players. Good fit for a matinee, a themed function or any room that wants the night to have a shape to it.
