A Sydney acoustic act working as either a duo or a trio, The Durty Tinkers' play Irish and Celtic tunes alongside country, folk and the sort of songs a room will sing back at you. That's the point, really. They'll invite you to join in, and plenty of people do. The set gets shaped around the occasion rather than pulled off a shelf, so a quiet function and a rowdy party get different nights. They bring their own gear and only need power to get going.
