About this act
The Electric 80s Tribute Show plays 1980 to 1989 and nothing either side. Eurythmics, Cyndi Lauper, Van Halen, the glam and the rock and the dance floor pop, performed by some of Brisbane's better musicians in full costume with the stage themed to match. The lighting matters here as much as the songs. Eighties production was all about the light show and they've built theirs to suit. Every number is one people already know, which is the whole trick of it, and the run from early electronic pop through to the late eighties big hits keeps the floor busy. Guests tend to spend the night pointing at each other and remembering things.
