The Great Armando

Armando learned magic in Europe before bringing it to Melbourne, and twenty years on he's still building shows around one idea: everybody in the room gets to be part of it. Kids help, decide outcomes and surprise the grown-ups. Parents, teachers and carers laugh along instead of watching from the back. The work is storytelling, comedy and sleight of hand rather than a run of tricks, paced on the day to suit whatever age group is sitting in front of him. Shy kids, loud kids and neurodivergent kids are all brought in on their own terms, without anyone being put on the spot, and child-safe practice sits quietly under all of it. He works birthday parties, school incursions, kindergarten shows, festivals and family events across Victoria, and has appeared on television in both Italy and Australia.
