The Groove Tones

Sax driven and mostly instrumental. The Groove Tones are guitar, bass, drums and tenor saxophone, playing jazz, soul, funk and ska, with the option of adding a singer if you want vocals in the mix. Their repertoire runs from Coltrane and Grover Washington Jr through to Maceo Parker and Madness, which is a wider stretch than most jazz outfits attempt. They work bars, clubs and parties around Sydney, and they can be a trio or a bigger band.
