Jennifer Salisbury

Duo · Based in Melbourne

About this act

Vocals and guitar, vintage attire, and a set that reads the room rather than dominating it. The Jennifer Salisbury Jazz Duo works through standards from the 1920s to the 1950s, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Bing Crosby, Cab Calloway, and swings modern pop into the same era in the Postmodern Jukebox style. Typical sets run two by 45 minutes, adjusted to fit your run sheet, and requests can be worked in with notice. The duo brings a compact PA if you need one, sets up and packs down inside about half an hour, and suits cocktail hours, dinners, relaxed receptions and Gatsby themed nights. Public liability cover and a current Working With Children Check are both in place.
