The Jitterbugs

Bugs, songs and a lot of moving about. The Jitterbugs is an interactive musical show for children aged one to seven, built around exploring the insect world through movement, dance and laughter, and it's been touring Australia for fifteen years. The gentle messages underneath are about fitness, wellbeing, caring for each other and looking after the environment, with segments on healthy eating and on why bugs matter. Cast size flexes from two characters up to six, and the show runs half an hour, 45 minutes or a full hour depending on what suits, with 15 minutes of meet and greets afterwards. A Christmas Spectacular version fields a cast of ten including Santa and helpers, who hand out presents or Christmas bags after the show. Sydney based.
