The Joe Cocker Experience

Eight pieces, and every one of them earns their place. The Joe Cocker Experience is fronted by Bruce Bird, whose Joe Cocker voice does the very hard part convincingly, with Paul Rea on keyboards, Aaron Giffin on lead guitar, vocalists Kristina Kelman and Jane Alicia, Mal Zego on bass, Robbie Amhaz on percussion and drums and Roger Beare on saxophone. The show runs from the Mad Dogs and Englishmen era through to the later recordings, taking in soulful blues, swinging big band arrangements and the ballads. These are seasoned south-east Queensland musicians, and the size of the band is what lets them do the arrangements properly.
