The Kind Caricaturist

Alan Tulloch has drawn caricatures at private and business functions under the name The Kind Caricaturist, a title picked up after clients kept describing the work as gentler than the usual exaggeration. Themes can be worked into a sitting on request, from a fifties look through to Christmas or an animal transformation. Some bookings call for one large caricature of a single guest surrounded by friends; others ask for a mashup that blends features from three or four people into a single drawing. Larger scale pieces are also available as standalone gifts for anniversaries or birthdays. Around seven to eight caricatures are completed each hour, with onlookers as much a part of the entertainment as the sitters.
