The Knave

Vinyl, not a laptop. The Knave DJs and MCs around Melbourne and has played the full range of rooms, from small private gatherings through to full scale rave parties. That spread shows in the wedding work, because the programming shifts as the night does: something soft and romantic while people are eating, feel-good and sociable through the middle, and then the part where the floor fills. Requests are welcome and you get to pick a few of your own favourites into the set. Handling MC duties as well means the announcements land in the same rhythm as the music, which is harder to arrange than it sounds.
