The Moveable Beats

Three players, no stage, no power lead. The Moveable Beats are a roving band built around two drummers and a trombone, and they walk the whole time they play. That makes them handy for outdoor events where the crowd is spread out and moving: a festival site, a street party, a school fete, anywhere a fixed stage would only reach the people standing in front of it. They wander, the music follows, and the mood of the space lifts as they pass. Based in Petersham in Sydney's inner west.
