The Pacific Belles

The Pacific Belles work the 1940s: three voices in close harmony, retro styling, pin-up flair, and a show called Sing, Swing In The Mood built around the wartime songbook. Material made famous by The Andrews Sisters sits at the centre of it, with choreography tight enough to be part of the act rather than decoration, and costumes doing plenty of the work. They swing between high energy numbers and the sweeter home-front ballads, which is what keeps a mixed-age room with them the whole way through. Corporate events, festivals, themed nights and community celebrations are the usual bookings, and the Gold Coast is home base.
