South Sydney three-piece, lead guitar and vocals, bass, and a drummer who sings. Between them they've clocked years of gigs here and overseas, and the whole point of The Party Popes Show is to put live music back at the centre of a night at the local. Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, The Doors, Ian Dury, Dragon, Midnight Oil, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones and The Beatles all get a run. Upbeat, familiar, built for a dance floor. They're not confined to pubs either. Weddings, birthdays and company functions all get the same treatment, and they bring the full PA, lights, backdrop and smoke machine.
