The Pointy Heads

Four voices sit at the heart of The Pointy Heads, a Perth band whose acoustic instruments cover plenty of ground. Banjo and guitar meet fiddle, double bass and cajon, with Americana sitting alongside Irish and Australian folk. Their sets draw on original material and traditional songs, with familiar tunes taking an old-time turn. Tom Waits, C.W. Stoneking and Bruce Springsteen are among their influences. Regular appearances at Guildford's Woodbridge Hotel are part of the band's story, and the same four-piece also plays weddings, festivals and private occasions.
