The Potbelleez is a dance band from New South Wales.
DJs and producers Dave Goode and Jonny Sonic founded The Potbelleez in Sydney in 2003 after both had independently moved to Australia. A four-deck, two-mixer house set built the act's early reputation, backed by a residency at Kings Cross venue the Moulin Rouge and a run of shows across China, Turkey, Romania, the UK, Ireland and Russia on the Jim Beam Mix It Up tour. The debut single Junkyard was recorded with London-based MC Blu, and the 2018 single Go For Gold debuted at the top of Spotify's New Music Friday playlist. That same year, Keep On Loving climbed into the top five of the ARIA Club Chart, with its video shot on Venice Beach. Festival credits include Stereosonic, Future Music Festival and Global Gathering Korea, plus club dates in Germany, Korea, Thailand and India.
