Lucy plays an old hognose psaltery and sings. Jason carries the melodies on a wooden recorder, and hand-makes the historically accurate renaissance peasant costumes they both wear, which is his other trade as a Melbourne costumier. Together they play music from medieval and renaissance Europe: Greensleeves, Scarborough Fair, Saltarello, Sonatina in G, Romanze. All of it works while roving, so they can drift through a market, a fair or an event space rather than needing a stage. No set-up required at all. Melbourne and Geelong based. Insured.
