The Rescue Cats

Electric guitar, keyboards and voices. No drums, no bass, and that's deliberate. The Rescue Cats play laid-back jazz, blues, soul and retro pop around Geelong and the Bellarine, which makes them a natural fit for a winery lawn or a Sunday afternoon. Nina Simone, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Blondie, The Beatles, Dionne Warwick, Doug Parkinson, The Easybeats and Eric Clapton all turn up. Three or four sets of 45 minutes with background music in between, and the PA and microphones are available for your speeches. Bass and drums can be added for a bigger event, and they also put on full shows for clubs and theatres, morning through to evening.
