About this act
Music teachers who met at a Brisbane studio called Resonate started jamming together in 2021, and The Resonators grew out of it. That teaching background shows up in the playing. The sound sits somewhere between Foo Fighters and INXS, with pop from Pink, Katy Perry and Britney Spears folded in, so a corporate room gets guitars and hooks rather than polite background music. The song list runs long and wide: Kryptonite, Sultans Of Swing, Sex On Fire, Never Tear Us Apart, Faith, Drive. Good pick if your crowd spans a few generations and you'd rather nobody sat down.
