The Roseberys

Four musicians who write together make up this Brisbane band, built on vocal harmonies with every member taking a turn at the microphone. Alternative rock, rockabilly, folk, pop, blues and soul all feed into a sound the group combines in its material, The band was a joint winner at the Brisbane ABC Exhumed competition final in 2013. A self-titled EP followed in May 2014 and was named Album of the Week on Steve Austin's morning program. John Esdaile plays bass, Patrick Gibbs and Ben Mullen share guitar duties, and Peter Young holds down drums. Sets can run to two sets of original material, with room to add covers of bands including The Saints, Stone Roses and Neil Young, and the band brings its own PA gear to every booking.
