The Rumour

The Hunter's long-serving function act. The Rumour is built from some of the most experienced players in the region, with Marty Worrall and Karyn Raftery sharing lead vocals and the harmony work between them. The standard set-up is three musicians on guitar, keys and tracks with the two singers out front, running three 45-minute sets of dance music, or a quieter dinner set followed by the party. There's also The Rumour Unplugged, a four-piece acoustic version with two guitars and both vocalists, reworking the same songs. They can even build a whole night from Australian artists if that's the brief.
