About this act
Three performers, three instruments and a lot of improvising with whoever wanders past. The Sirens rove as a Victorian mermaid inspired trio in modern dress, playing accordion, ukulele and a double bass mounted on wheels, and singing as they go. Rhoda Lopez is an actress, musician and vocalist, Nikki Dagostino plays accordion, and Beth Sheldon is a circus performer, costume designer and double bassist. Their repertoire is wide enough to land with any age group, and they mix choreographed pieces with theatrical spontaneity. The characters work for family audiences and for adult themed events, and the performance can be tailored to a theme. Perth based, and suited to outdoor festivals, meet and greets, floorshows, cabaret, weddings and corporate functions.
