The Sitch are Gene Mitchell on vocals, guitars and loops, John Sandow on keyboards and Leyne Elbourne on vocals and percussion, and they've built a name on reading a room properly. Private parties, weddings, street festivals, markets and aged care homes are all regular work, which tells you how far the repertoire stretches: Elvis, the Beatles, ABBA, Doris Day, Sinatra, the Eagles, Bob Marley, Creedence, the Stones, Kylie, plus 50s rock and roll, 70s soul and disco and 80s pop. Upbeat, laid back, or a bit of each. They hold public liability insurance, police checks and working with children checks.
