The Swing Beans

Two archtop guitars, a double bass and a violin, playing bright uptempo swing and jazz from the 1920s through to the 1950s with harmony vocals over the top. I'll See You In My Dreams, Tico Tico, Cow Cow Boogie, Comes Love, I'm Beginning To See The Light. It sits well as listening music and it works if people want to dance, which is not a trick every jazz band manages. The Swing Beans have been gigging around Brisbane and south east Queensland for seven years, and they can shrink to a trio or duo if the space calls for it. They bring their own PA, need 240 volt power and an hour to set up, and hold public liability cover.
