The Swing Sisters Show

Wartime sweethearts are the whole business of The Swing Sisters Show. Lisa Page and Kirsty Jeffrey, dressed to the nines in 40s style, have been performing this act together since 2005, drawing on their vocal and dance backgrounds to recreate the performers of the era rather than just sing the songs. The Andrews Sisters get Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Chattanooga Choo Choo. Vera Lynn gets We'll Meet Again and White Cliffs of Dover. Edith Piaf is in there, so is the Vietnam era, and the post-war years of Judy Garland and Doris Day fill out the set. Expect singalongs, and expect a few damp eyes. There's a Christmas edition too, Swing Into Christmas, with 40s and 50s festive tunes, and it runs in July as well for anyone who wants it mid-year.
