The Swingin Martinis

Crooner hits played up-tempo, with slapstick in between. The Swingin Martinis are a Brisbane musical comedy act in the old double-act tradition, updated for a modern crowd, and the audience gets dragged into it. The songbook is Sinatra, Dean Martin and Tom Jones territory: Big Spender, That's Amore, Fly Me to the Moon, Sway, Come Fly With Me, Puttin' on the Ritz, Suspicious Minds and Delilah among them. They also run a second show, Blue Bros Swingin', which mixes the comedy with the up-tempo numbers from The Blues Brothers film. Best suited to a room that wants to laugh as much as listen.
