The Tombstone Gamblers

Out of the Riverina Murray, a band that sits blues at the centre and lets rock and country push in from either side. Twin guitar leads, strong vocals, and a rhythm section that keeps the groove where you can feel it, with funk turning up in the phrasing more often than you'd expect from a blues outfit. Their covers come from artists like Ruthie Foster, Danielle Nicole, Fiona Boyes, Karen Lovely, Ally Venable, Rosie Flores, Tina Turner and Elles Bailey, which is a more interesting well than most pub bands draw from. Experienced players, all their own gear, and they only need electricity.
