Garage rock, played with the fuzz left on. The Van Bams are a Brisbane alternative rock band with hooks buried under the noise and a stage presence that keeps a crowd in the room. Festival stages suit them, and so does a decent pub with a good PA. Nothing polished about it, which is rather the point. Loud, catchy, and over before you're sick of it.
