The Wipeouts

Surf shirts, a surfboard, beach balls, and a go go dancer who runs her own dance school. The Wipeouts do 1960s properly, covering both sides of the surf sound: the Beach Boys harmonies and the instrumental side with Wipeout and Pipeline. From there the show opens out across the whole decade, taking in pop, power pop, hippy folk, protest songs, psychedelia and the heavier end. Over a hundred songs sit in the repertoire, including Surfin' USA, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Satisfaction, A Hard Day's Night, Magic Carpet Ride and Bus Stop. It's an interactive show, not a background one. Melbourne based, with their own PA and a generator if you want them on a beach.
