Theo Kearing is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entertainer from Western Australia.
Welcome to Country, smoking ceremonies, didgeridoo playing, storytelling, corroboree and dance workshops, tool making and bush tucker all sit within what Theo Kearing and the Bindjareb Middar dance troupe offer. Kearing took over leadership of the group after his father's death, continuing to pass on the culture and knowledge it carries. He has appeared in the film Paperback Hero and in short films for the ABC and NITV, and the troupe featured in Ben Elton's Three Summers. Kearing has also travelled to Africa to live and share culture with Masai communities, extending the same exchange he brings to Bindjareb Middar's work here.
